Church Membership

The Philosophical Foundation

Membership is granted to individuals who have committed to and are in agreement with the following prerequisites:
* Faith and Confession in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. (Romans 10:9)
* Agreeing with and following faithfully the purpose, goals, and doctrines of the church.
* Completion of new members' classes, which entitles you to serve in a ministry or auxiliary.

The Biblical Basis/Goal

* The Biblical mandate for membership (Hebrews 13:17).
* The Biblical motivation for membership (Hebrews 10:24-25; 1 John 1:3).
* The Biblical method for membership (2 Thessalonians 2:14; Philippians 1:6).
* The Biblical goal for membership (Matthew 28:18-20).
* The Biblical result for membership (I Corinthians 13:1-13; John 13:25: 15:12).

Benefits of Membership
* To be spiritually covered under the guidance of a local pastor, who will lead as the Holy Spirit dictates (Hebrews 13:17).
* Aiding in ministry to saints as well as sinners (Matthew 28:19-20).
* Strengthening the bonds of love and kinship (Philippians 2:1-4).
* To be a part of a family of believers (I Corinthians 12:12-14).
