As Hopewell Missionary
Baptist Church has grown spiritually and physically, so have
the needs for printed and electronic materials and communications.
In 1997, what began as a one person Print Shop printing the
weekly church bulletin has now, just five years later, developed
into a full blown Publications and Marketing Department.
The mission of the Hopewell Publications
and Marketing Department is to design, print and market the
vision to “Fulfill the Great Commission” and forward
the God-given vision of Pastor William L. Sheals for Hopewell
Baptist Church and its entities in print, television, radio,
products, event marketing and coordination. The entities of
Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church include the City of Hope
Community Development Corporation, Hopewell Christian Academy,
the City of Hope Christianomics Mall & Training Center,
the City of Hope Child Development Center and the City of
Hope Career Training and Resource Center, as well as Preparing
for the Mission Ministries, Pastor Sheals’ personal
ministry.
In addition to supporting the sixty plus
ministries, the Publications and Marketing Department makes
services available to Hopewell members, including business
cards, flyers etc.
In addition to working with each individual
ministry, PMD produces the weekly Sunday bulletin. The purpose
of the bulletin is to notify the congregation of ministry
and church business. Ministries desiring to have events announced
in the Sunday bulletin should complete the Bulletin
Information Form. A weekly deadline of Tuesday morning
at 10 am has been established and must be strictly adhered
to. Information received after this deadline will be placed
on a space available basis.
Maintenance and upkeep of Hopewell’s
web site is also the responsibility of PMD. In order for our
web site to be useful, ministries are requested to submit
updated information and upcoming events to us as soon as possible.
