Discipleship class descriptions

Discipleship I - Students get a detailed understanding of what Christ did for them at the cross. They will then learn to apply this truth by taking up and bearing the cross daily. Mondays at 7pm

Discipleship II - Students learn to harness their personality and make it line up with that of Christ. Prerequisite: Discipleship I. Mondays at 7pm

Discipleship III - Students learn how to know what God means when He says the victory is won! They will then be able to live victoriously in Word and in deed! Prerequisite: Discipleship I and II. Mondays at 7pm

Discipleship IV - Students are taught that God has a mission for them, specifically to accomplish. Students will understand that He not only gives the mission, but equips the mind and spirit with His anointing to enable for His good pleasure. Prerequisite: Discipleship I, II & III. Mondays at 7pm

WWIVES - Tired of blaming him and ready to look at what your true role as a Godly wife should be? Could it be the biggest room you have is room for improvement? If you've got problems, we've got answers . . . from on High! Sound Biblical support is offered to keep you focused on God while you allow Him to bring your spouse into His full knowledge. Mondays at 7pm

WWIVES II Support Group - Continue to strength your marriage in a Bible Study designed for women who have completed the WWIVES class. Tuesdays at 7pm

How to Manage Your Money - Learn how to budget, save, invest and give of your finances based on Biblical principles. God's plan is for Christians to live with joy and be debt free. In this class, students will learn to be good stewards of their finances. Thursdays at 7pm

The Marriage Covenant Class (Couples) - This course was designed to help couples develop a stronger marital relationship. It encourages Christians to excercise the promises and expectations of God's covenant love in marriage. This means offering each other steadfast loyalty, forgioveness, empathy, and committment to resolving conflict so as to encourage each other in spiritual growth. The concept of covenant marriage is based on the biblical model of God's covenant with people.

Mission I - Continues with the training obtained in Discipleship I-4. Mission I will be inclusive of the following study topics: (1) The Purpose Driven Life, (2) The Doctrine of Salvation, (3) The Holy Spirit and Salvation , and (4) Practical witnessing methods. Thursdays at 7pm.

Mission II - Deals with challenges associated with witnessing for Christ individually as well as with a team. Thursdays at 7 pm

Youth Mission Classes

Mission I - Gives the foundation of what Missions is and how to be an effective witness for Christ as a youth. Mission I will be actively involved in outreach activities. Thursdays at 7pm.

Mission II - will be a more in depth study of missionaries in the Bible as well as how to grasp and take hold of his/her calling as a missionary. Mission II will be actively involved in outreach activities. Thursdays at 7pm.

All children and youth classes are designed to disciple. Children and Youth are registered by parents who are themselves being discipled. The approach taken in the Discipleship Ministry is to help the family develop an environment of unity in the home as they together grow spiritually on one accord. With this in mind, the ministry provides structured teaching to babies and children starting at 6 months of age.

  • 6 months - 2 years -- Bible stories, memory concepts, Biblical activities, Biblical sing-a-alongs and Christian videos. Mondays @ 7pm
  • 3 - 4 years old - Team Kid Discipleship curriculum, Mondays at 7 pm
  • 5 - 6 years old - Team Kid Discipleship curriculum, Mondays at 7pm
  • 7 - 8 years old - Team Kid Discipleship curriculum, Mondays at 7pm
  • 9 - 10 years old - Team Kid Discipleship curriculum, Mondays at 7pm
  • 11 - 13 years old - LifeWay Discipleship Youth Curriculum, Mondays at 7pm
  • 14 - 18 years old - LifeWay Discipleship Youth Curriculum, Mondays at 7pm
