2002
After more than two years of research and planning, the City
of Hope Federal Credit Union opened its doors at Monday July
29, 2002. The credit union is charted by the National Credit
Union Association.
Our Mission
Our mission at the City of Hope Federal Credit Union is to
provide wealth building opportunities and financial stability.
In addition we will provide growth to our members through
a variety of service offerings, educational opportunities
and the application of Christian principles in the area of
finance and banking.
Who can join?
You can join the credit union if you are member or
employee of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, an employee
of or a student in Hopewell Christian Academy or the City
of Hope Child Development Center. Your relatives may also
join once you have become a member.
How do I join?
To join you may request a signature card by mail, via the
Internet or come into our office. There is a one time membership
fee of $5.00 and an initial deposit of $20.00 to open your
share savings account. Click here to download a Membership
Application. Membership applications must be presented
in person with identification.
Will my money be safe
here ?
YES! Deposits are federally insured up to $100,000 by the
National Credit Union Association, an agency of the federal
government. Each account, as they become available will be
separately insured.
